Corner View: Pondering

This is my first Corner View post...so I hope I am doing it right!

I'm sure all parents go through a similar phase, when you look at your child and wonder what they will become, what kind of person will they be, what will they do? Sometimes you almost catch a fleeting glimpse of what they will look like in their adult form...a kind of mirage that lasts a split second, not long enough for you to even remember what you saw. I've experienced this a lot with my 10 year old son lately, probably because he's in the early stages of changing from a boy to a man. He's very much a boy but sometimes I see him as the man he may be and I start to ponder about his future.
Of course at the moment there is a lot more fretting than pondering going on, as we wait to hear which school he's got into!

  1. Welcome to Corner View :)

I also ponder about the same things: I look at my daughter and keep thinking who will she become when she grows up.

Thank you for sharing your thoughs and photos.

  2. Good first corner view! I can't say I've pondered about the same things because I AM a kid, though!

  3. Welcome to CV. He's got a great face. I think about these things too, especially with my youngest, a boy, age 7. It's hard to believe someday he will grow bigger than me and be a man.

  7. I look at my 11 year old the same way. He is not a baby and not a man, but he is changing before my eyes.
