Tadaa!

I've hardly been on my computer lately, partly for the usual reasons - busy with work, kids and a seasonal cold but mainly because I am now the proud owner of an iPad. 

I love my iPad and its  portability makes it especially useful while I'm knitting or cooking or in bed.

I haven't fully explored all the possibilities yet and I find it's not the best way for me to blog but I have come across a programme on the app store that I am starting to become a little addicted to.

It's called Tadaa and it's an app that allows you to apply arty filters to the photos you've taken on your iPhone or iPad and share them with the rest of the Tadaa community (if you wish). I suppose it's a bit like Twitter for photos.... you can "follow" people, "like" their images and leave comments.

To be honest, the camera on the iPad isn't that good but even a mediocre photo can look great when you've added a filter. And once you start taking photos you can't stop! 

They are hosting a huge amount of photos so I wonder whether this app will remain free? Or maybe they will add some features that they will charge for? I'd like to see a search facilty for key words and perhaps a tagging system or an option to see all images from certain locations or certain days.... an "on this day" option would be pretty cool or photos from opposite sides of the world or all cat photos (yeah, I know it's naff but I can't resist a cute cat picture).
