Corner View : January

I'm another January birthday girl. Without much resentment, I have accepted that my birthday is usually a non-event. People are drained of the festive spirit, and drained of cash.... they have had Christmas, they have had New Year and then three days later it's my birthday... very inconvenient. If anybody even remembers it's a pleasant surprise!
January is a tough month, especially for the birds. We need to keep the feeders topped up.
This weekend I will make some bird "cakes" with seeds, raisins and fat.
I tried to photograph the birds but they were not keen :-)
The camelia flowers are shy too.

  3. PS Thank you for your nice words and Q on my January post.
I did write the words (english) and the Chinese characters were written by my friend,
it was a collaborative poem! Glad to hear it communicated and that you could 'sense' the meanings of the characters..
Hope you enjoy these last days of January!xo
