Corner View : Light

Yesterday at work I spent most of the day photographing the new jewellery for the Cristalina range. We don't really have the proper photographic equipment and it's very difficult capturing the true beauty of the Swarovski crystals and the fascinating way in which they reflect the light. It's very frustrating because the photos need to be as perfect as possible so that people can really see what they are buying.

I soon realised that even subtle changes of light can make the same object look very different. Sometimes the crystals are just too lively and they want to reflect and refract the light in all the wrong places!

So, with the help of the camera on my iPad, I thought I would give the crystal a chance to show its true colours; allow it to play with the light the way it wants to... no need for perfection... no need for focus.

I think you'll be able to tell that I had quite a bit of fun! I love the colours!
