Mango Ice Cream

Mangoes are one of the kids favourite fruits so it was only a matter of time before I tried out the Mango Ice-cream recipe from Ice Cream Made Easy: Homemade Recipes for Ice Cream Machines
There are two whole mangoes in this recipe! Mangoes can be a pain to prepare but I always use my "Good Grips" mango splitter which makes the job a lot easier.

The mangoes were on offer in Tescos ... 2 for £2 ...not bad.

 While we were eating this, we each ranked the recipes I've tried so far from the book. The kids have decided that this is their favourite ice cream so far... it is fruity and very creamy and if it weren't for the fact that I loved the lemon sorbet so much, I'd have to agree with them!
