Project Rowan Arielle - lazy weekend knitting

 On Saturday I had a hang-over...just a small one...but enough of one to make me listless. It was a lovely sunny day so I basically spent most of the day lying on the sun lounger and occasionally knitting a few rows of my Arielle.

I finished the hem. As I mentioned before, I didn't have the correct needle size, I only had 2.5mm which was a size bigger than that stated on the pattern. I knitted less repeats...and stopped when I thought it was long enough. I didn't calculate anything, but used the slightly dubious method of holding the hem up against my body and kept knitting and then checking it against my body until it "seemed" long enough :-|

I haven't even knitted a gauge swatch so this whole project could go horribly wrong.

So far I am just knitting along, hoping for the best!
