L is for Labradorite... a beautiful iridescent rock mineral. The flat, disc like beads on this necklace really catch the light...this light is often called the "fire" within the stone.
L is also for LOST... a pair of silver, marcasite and pearl earrings I'd not seen for a while but found when I started looking for my labradorite necklace :-)

Thank you Heather :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a wooden box just similar to yours!
ReplyDeleteAnd sometimes happens to me the same, loosing and finding things when looking for others.
Thanks for passing and your sweet words.
:-) I think the box is made from walnut?
DeleteI have a labradorite pendent that for some reason I wear in the summer only. I too lost (ie misplaced) a favorite piece of jewelry in the house, a ring - perhaps I should wish to lose me labradorite, in the hope that my ring will turn up when I look for it! :)
ReplyDeleteThe labradorite is like the sea though isn't it... when there is a blue sky, i's bright and clear...when it's cloudy it's grey and dark. Labradorite is definately best in the summer :-)
DeleteIt's worth a try...hope your ring turns up.
