Valentine's Day

This card part of a bunch of postcards I bought off a eBay a few years back for a craft project. The postmark is dated July 11th 1910 and the stamp has the head of King George V on it. I am holding a piece of somebody's relationship, more than 112 years old!
What I've noticed about many of these vintage cards, is that most of the messages are about arranging dates and times to meet up with people. It's almost incomprehensible to us now, in the days of instant text messaging, that people would buy a postcard, write on it "can you meet next Thursday about 3pm, same place as last week?" ...Walk out of their house, post it and then wait a few days for a reply! This is how Lizzie and George communicated during their courtship and I've ended up with a part of it...that couldn't really happen now with text messages.
