Chloe - Lace Crochet Top

In my previous post I mentioned this little top I made my daughter. I didn't follow a pattern but I did have a vague idea about the kind of thing I wanted to create...a summery crop top that my daughter could wear over sleeveless t-shirts and vests...something loose fitting, light and airy and incorporating a mesh stitch pattern.
I started from the top, crocheted the whole thing in the round in one piece. I'm pretty happy with the result.
I'm making another one now but this time I'm going to make a note of what I'm doing and then I'll write up the pattern.
This is a very quick top to make and uses a relatively small amount of lace weight yarn (about 40g).
For the latest version I am using some of the yarn left over from the "Marlene" scarf I knitted.
I will probably end up testing the pattern over on Ravelry - if you're interested in test crocheting this pattern, please contact me : mezzamay at gmail dot com
