In The Garden - Bamboo Wigwams Verboten!

White Tulip
Well, it's been a very long time (at least it seems like it) since I last posted. I actually, as usual, have a lot of catching up to do but I've just been very, very busy and blogging is extremely time consuming so I do have to prioritise!
Lady's Mantle
The OH is having an early evening nap due to working until 3am last night. We are going to have a curry later so I thought I'd take this little window of time to write a post. I should be doing some crochet really but my neck has been pretty bad lately so I need to give it a rest. I also had an ocular migraine yesterday so perhaps I shouldn't be on my pc either.
Hellebore
I've been busy in the garden when the weather allows. I painted and put up my planters my dad made on the back wall of the house. I also planted up the plug plants that have been getting into a sorrier and sorrier state day by day. I'm really relieved that they have perked up in just a couple of days after I planted them.
My dad came a few weeks back and completed the "Rabbit Happiness Project". I think that deserves a post of its own so I won't talk about that now.
My sweet peas have all germinated and are growing rapidly! However, the OH has declared that I am not allowed to make or have any bamboo wigwams in the garden because apparently they look messy. So I thought about it and had a look on ebay and bought a set of these obelisks for £39.99. Quite possibly cheap and nasty and I fully expect them to rust in the first year but hopefully they will meet the approval of the Overlord.
Sea Thrift - reminds me of Cornwall
Although I have had an Instagram account for many years, I hardly ever used it. Recently however, I've found that it's a very good way of sharing the photos I've taken with my Samsung Galaxy Mini phone and iPad and subsequently a great way of documenting various things in my life without having to write lengthy blog posts. I used to use Tadaa a lot and was sad when they changed it. I'm quite enjoying Instagram although I think most of my "likes" and "followers" are school friends of my daughter's! Anyway, if my images have whet your interest, please do take a look and follow me if you like! This is me, mezzamay And if you want to see all the photos relating to my garden, search for #mezzagarden
And we should have a couple of photos of Marco Baby enjoying the garden - just because he's gorgeous (yes, I know I need a haircut)!
