Next week I'm off on holiday! I am going to the same place in Spain that I have been visiting for the last 3 years. I go with my boyfriend and without the kids; my mum has them for a week.
It's a chance to get away from everything - work, telephones, computers, wet weather (hopefully), cars, school, chores....and people. We usually stay in a villa and keep ourselves to ourselves, occasionally venturing out for a coastal walk or a meal in a nice restaurant. It's especially nice where we go because there are hardly any English people; most of the other tourists are Spanish, German or French, so I can even get away from having to listen to other people's inane chat!
