My daughter wanted to grow some radishes so I bought a packet of seeds from Lidl. They are like the "French Breakfast" variety I had grown as a child and they are called "De Dix Huit Jours"... they certainly grew very quickly!
The kids were just about to discard the leaves in the compost bin when I wondered, "Can rabbits eat radish leaves?". I looked it up on the internet... and yes they can! Smokey certainly enjoyed his radish leaves as much as the kids enjoyed their radishes! Girl bunny turned her nose up at them.
We'd better sow some more for another crop!
