As I go along, I notice that the size of my motifs can vary from day to day. I suppose my gauge is tighter or looser from one day to another, depending on how stressed I am!
Since I didn't buy all my yarn at once, the balls are all different batch numbers. I don't see any apparent difference in colour between the skeins but it's probably best to mix up the motifs a bit before stitching them together, especially as they are all different sizes too. Once they are joined up, the size differences are not noticeable and hopefully any variations in colour will not be either!
They remind me of poppadoms when they are all in a pile.
I don't want to be left with a huge amount of sewing at the end so I am trying to do chunks of it now.
Today I finished sewing another 100 motifs together. Not a very good photo I'm afraid.
And, yes, I don't iron my bed sheets... I'm far too busy crocheting!
