My little cacti collection has contracted mealy bugs (also known as woolly aphids). If you want to find out more, here is a good article about these little creatures/pests.
There were just a few to start with which I killed by pricking with a pin and then wiping off with a cotton bud (or q-tip) but when I came back from my holiday they had multiplied and they pin technique is not longer feasable.
So, I am going to try this natural bug killer called SB Plant Invigorator which I bought from The Green Gardener website. Let's see if this a good natural alternative to chemical pest control sprays!
