Folksy - My First Purchase(s)

Folksy is a bit like Etsy but focused more on the UK market.You can buy hand crafted items from UK based artists and also sell your own creations.

I have previously used Etsy and Dawanda but this was my first purchase at Folksy.

 

At first I was looking for a suitable gift for my friend's first baby and decided on this cute hand made bib set featuring the hungry caterpillar fabric from Nella's Attic. The items are very nicely made and who doesn't love the artwork from the hungry caterpillar? My designer friend appreciated it very much...she had not heard of Folksy before and has already been browsing the site with interest.

After buying the bib set, I then spotted these lovely pair of earrings from Josephine's which I impulsively bought ....and I glad I did! They are so sweet! I wore them today and have already had quite a few compliments!

So, if you haven't tried out Folksy yet, you should go and check it out and support the UK craft scene! Oh, and don't forget to look in Nella's Attic and Josephine's stores too... but don't buy the honey bee pendant because I've got my eye on that one....
