Corner View : Seasonal

First of all I'd like to wish all Corner Viewers a wonderful Christmas!

In my corner of the world we have been doing some crafting...with a seasonal theme.

On Christmas Eve, my daughter made these little "key chain buddies" from a craft set she recieved for her birthday in September. The set is very cheap and low quality. Most of the pieces didn't match up with some bits missing and because of this, any child with a parent that has no sewing or crafting skills would never have been able to make these. Luckily I was able to help. I even made one myself - the little bird.

A child doesn't really have much need for a keychain so we decided to make the animals more festive by making them some santa hats with some spare felt I had. Then we thought they would actually look quite good as Christmas tree decorations....so that's what they finally became!

I really enjoyed making these with my daughter and I think she enjoyed it too. I was trying to persuade my son to make the frog...the pieces are still in the box, untouched. Maybe one day I will post a photo of his Christmas frog but I'm not feeling too confident about that!!
