Bunny Bonding Progress

After a week, our new bunny, Oliver seems to be settling in well, with only one little glitch.
Oliver is quite a bouncy and inquisitive rabbit and sometimes Lulu finds his energy a little unsettling, especially when he jumps over her! He is still just a boy really so I expect he will calm down a bit as he gets older and more accustomed to his new home.
I check up on them regularly; at night shining my torch into the hutch. Sometimes they are cuddled up to each other which is nice to see. They are definitely not as close as Lulu and Smokey were but who knows, over time their love may grow!
One night I had to split them up. Oliver was pestering Lulu, he kept trying to mount her and mate her. Oliver has recently been neutered so I think he may have a little bit of the urge left in him. I didn't like the thought of them being in the hutch together all night with the prospect of her being constantly sexually harassed so I brought her into the house for the night. In the morning I re-united them and supervised for a while and there weren't any further problems.
He is grooming her more regularly and she occasionally reciprocates. This is a good sign. It looks like the pecking order has been settled on - Lulu is the boss!
We've even seen Oliver's first bunny flop! This made me very happy because bunnies only flop onto their backs when they feel safe and relaxed.
Lulu is still on her diet. She's not having any Russell Rabbit (pelleted food mix) just hay, Readi Grass (which is like Timothy hay), fresh cut grass from the garden and carrots. She already seems a little slimmer and more active, although she's still got a considerable tummy in these photos!
Lulu likes licking the wooden floors and doors. I think Oliver finds it a bit embarrassing!
"Hey! Stop that!"
"No way! I'm starving!"
