Posh Sock Challenge - Wednesday

I've started Wednesday's socks for the Posh Sock Challenge in a beautifully soft and fluffy yarn called "Besty"  which is apparently 70% Wool, 20% Silk & 10% Cashmere but I suspect it's 100% Fluffy Duckling
I seem to be slightly obsessed with my Sock Innovation book by Cookie A as this is yet another pattern from it called "Eunice". I did want to try out a pattern from one of my other sock pattern books but I struggled to find anything that I could envisage in this very yellow yarn.
Each sock only comes with instructions for one size but the aim of the book is to teach you how to change stitch patterns to make socks bigger or smaller and luckily this pattern was used as one of the examples of how to change a chart to make it bigger (page 46). Not sure I'd have bothered with it if I had to work it out myself.
We'll have to see how I get on when I come to the heel flap because there is no modified chart for that and I'll have to see if I can wing it.
This is quite a "short" sock design and I do prefer socks a little longer so I knitted the cuff a bit longer and will also have some extra length from using the larger chart.
