"Turkey Spaghetti Bolognese?"
This is not the kind of recipe that would usually appeal to me; it was picked up and put in my trolley by my 12 year old son who decided we should have it for dinner one night.
"OK, let's give it a go."
I have to say, the turkey mince didn't look very appetising in either its raw or cooked state but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste - overall this was a tasty and satisfying family dinner which the kids enjoyed and if you take out the sun-dried tomatoes and use puree instead, it would also be a good meal if you're on a tight budget. You definitely need the fresh herbs and Parmesan though as these are crucial for generating some kind of flavour.
Not bad, but not top on my list for a re-make... don't tell the kids.
