I photographed this grass just a few minutes ago in my neighbour Nora's garden. Her house has sold but the new neighbours have not moved in yet. I am glad of this. I don't think I could have mourned properly if new people had moved in right away.
In the mean time the garden has gone wild. Her little lawn is a pretty meadow and the blackberries are going to be wonderful. I wonder if my new neighbours will let me pick them for my apple & blackberry crumble? Or whether they will get rid of them?
For now I can still go over and pick her dandelions for the rabbits and peer through her kitchen window and remember my friend.
I miss her.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
ReplyDeleteI hope your new neighbours will be nice and friendly too. Your photos of grass are lovely, I particularly like the second one.

I remember you telling about your neighbour friend.
ReplyDeleteI do hope the new neighbours will see the merits of the garden. If only for your rabbits sake...

I hope that your new neighbour will be great, and that you keep in touch with the old ones. And the cacke looks delicious too!
ReplyDeleteKeep my fingers crossed that your new neighbours turn into friends, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, by the way! Don't know if the neighbours will embrace this wild meadow, but I do! The second pic is just pure beauty!
Hope the new neighbors will enjoy and keep Nora's blackberry bushes.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you lost your friend. :(
