Corner View - Sunshine

Sunshine - not something that's always in abundance, here in the UK! Although I do live south of the Thames so we tend to get a little bit more than some Brits!
One of my favourite pastimes is just mooching around my garden, looking at the plants, seeing what's new, what's changed and thinking about what I can do next.
I also love hearing the sparrows chatter and watching the curious robin bobbing along beside me. I'll hear a rustle in the undergrowth and it'll be a blackbird tossing leaves about.
Today was a lovely sunny day. There was a bit of wind but the light was lovely. The sunshine appeared to twinkle on the leaves as the wind gently buffered them.
The sunsrays shone straight through these sedum leaves, as if they were stained glass.
And another ray of sunshine, Marco Baby of course!

    1. Thank you - I'm lucky to have inherited a nice garden from the previous owners of the house. I hope I can keep it nice!

  4. You have a lovely garden, I think it's a British specialty! I love watching the plants grow especially in the morning or evening when the light is sweet. Sure, the most beautiful plant is the last one, your son ;)

  6. that sounds like a good plan, just walkin' round the garden and see what next you could do, or not. i've noticed that effect on sedum in my garden too, our neighbours plant s abundant way into mine, and i just love their overpowering stand. enjoy that sparse sun! n♥
