Corner View : Tiny

Dear Corner Viewers,

I know this is a bit mawkish but this little boy is more than just a cute rabbit. When I see him hopping around and exploring and sniffing the air and witness his evident love of the little world that he lives in, it makes me happy. From this little rabbit's dewy eyes, exudes a pure innocence, the kind that is hard to find anymore in this world, especially now that my kids are growing old and the teenage angst of my son  is starting to rear its ugly head. This tiny little boy bunny doesn't have an ounce of malice in his perfect little body.
Spending five minutes of time with him is a kind of therapy that temporarily cleanses your soul and takes any black thoughts out of your mind. It's amazing that such a tiny creature can have such a big effect!
It's obvious that I get more enjoyment from the rabbits than my children do!
Mezza

  1. I am there with you as my son is just on the cusp of becoming a teenager. I wish I could calm his fears and make his transition into this world much easier. Some days are good and some are ugly.

  2. Hello Mezza - sorry to leave a comment here, but I didn't know how else to contact you. I'm wondering if I can use a sketch of yours from February (http://mezzamay.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html) of a wren as my profile picture for my blog? I blog as Jenny Wren (geddit?) and have been looking for a simple black and white picture of the bird - yours is just perfect. I'm happy to credit you, or link to your blog, or whatever, just let me know. Maybe you could inbox me at jenny.wren@ymail.com ?

do enjoy the softness of the tiny one, our teenagers are just that, underneath. ahem.

  4. I agree with nadine, under those rough edges there is still softness in our teenagers - though a bunny is certainly more cuddly :)
    Happy Sunday!
