This weekend I had a bit of a crochet fixation with this pin cushion pattern. I saw a some lovely colourful ones a fellow Raveler had made and I was envious.... I wanted one! Another lady on Ravelry also wanted one but is unable to crochet because it makes her hands sore. I offered to make her one but she only likes red and black. Ok, that last comment may possibly be a gross generalisation but she does LOVE red and black together and I can see why. Isn't it a stunning combination?
The pattern is very easy (available from this blog in English and this blog in Danish) - you only need to be able to do a sliding loop to start and single crochet. That really is all there is to it.
I used a 3mm crochet hook and some 4ply woolen sock yarn.
I'm very pleased with these....I'm going to make some with some of my DK cotton stash next.....
